Physical Education

I am a 1997 graduate of Nelson Co. High School in Bardstown.  In 2000, I  received my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood at St. Catherine College in Springfield, KY.  I then transferred to Campellsville University, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education/Health in 2004.  I received my Master's Degree in Physical Education/Health from WKU in 2009.

I moved to Breckinridge Co. in 2004.  I began my teaching career as a "travelling" PE teacher.  I taught at Ben Johnson, Irvington, and Custer!  In 2008, I received the opportunity to teach PE at just one school...HES!

Since coming to Breckinridge Co., I have coached basketball and archery.  I helped bring the National Archery in the Schools Program to the local elementary schools in 2004.  I have since coached the HES archery team from 2008-2010 and the BCHS archery team from 2010 to 2012. I now have decided to lay down the bow and only focus on Basketball for awhile!!

I am the youngest of 4 kids.  I grew up on a farm, where I spent a lot of my time fishing, raising cattle, and riding go-carts and four-wheelers.  I also participated in several sports. In my free time now, I enjoy spending time with my friends, photography, reading, and cheering on my 3 favorite teams, the Cards, Vols, and Longhorns.  I have a Jack Russell named Potter, who is the light of my life!
